How to Join
Membership is open to all ambulatory surgery centers. Our members include corporate partners, service companies and ambulatory surgery centers that vary in size from a single specialty, single room OR suite to multi-specialty, multiple OR's and procedure rooms. These facilities can be licensed or unlicensed, free-standing or hospital affiliated, physician, hospital or corporate ownership, accredited and non-accredited, Medicare certified or not certified.
The NJ Association of Ambulatory Surgery Center always strives for improvement that ultimately will benefit its members. As such the Association has undergone some organizational changes in the last few months.
We have changed our meeting time to 10am - 1pm to allow greater participation from members and guest speakers.
Our website has been expanded and is now complete. You will receive a password via email.
We are expanding the Board of Directors and are soliciting nominations for a board seat. Please submit your nominations prior to the next general meeting.
We have expanded our membership base to include consultant and corporate membership.
Lastly, and most importantly, we have had to increase our membership fees to $1,500. It is essential with the current climate in Trenton toward ambulatory surgery centers, that we hire a lobbyist that will be our eyes and ears in Trenton and keep us informed.
Further, the increased fees will also enable us to hire administrative help in an effort to provide you with timely communication.
